Another graphite portrait

When Marge and I were at the lake, I took a picture of her that I wanted to try to draw. Her hair is blowing from the wind off of the lake. Very casual setting and very casual picture.

Time at the Lake

My friend Marge came for a week long visit. We were planning to go camping by the lake but were unable to make it. We spent one afternoon by the lake drawing. It was so much fun.

Artwork II

Not to be left out, I also did a drawing of Cate. It is a pencil on an ATC which is 3 1/2 x 2 1/2. I think I need some photos of Hunter and Brandon so I can capture their images too.

New Artwork

Michele had taken such a cute picture of Addy, I wanted to try to draw it in pencil. I liked the way it turned out.

Double your pleasure

Last week we had Cate and Keri here visiting. The little girls played nicely together. It was so much fun watching them.

A Dream Realized

Keifer has wanted flames on his vehicle since he was 20. It has finally come to pass.

Home again, home again jiggity jig jig

Here Addy is bringing her Daddy and G-Dad to lunch at Chic fil a. She is very fond of the guys in her life.

We went to Indiana to visit with Keith's Mom and brother's family. Keith and his Mom enjoyed visiting together on the porch. We took Kirk, Michele, and Addy with us so they could visit the family and Addy could entertain them. She did her job well.

Addy loves water

Addy is outside with her little house and her water table. It is supposed to have sand on one side and water on the other. We decided to put water on both. We don't have to worry about her eating the sand. She loves to play in the water. She has also discovered the sprinkler.

Belated Father's Day

Last Saturday, everyone came out to celebrate Father's Day with Keifer. We got some good shots I thought you would enjoy. Lots of baby time. 

Koach's new additions

This is the new wrap we had put on the back of the motorhome. It is a close-up of the "Lazy KZ" name we had installed last week. 

We also put a ramp on the back (the photo below) to carry a vehicle for scooting around once we settle somewhere. I think the Koach is officially ours now. 

Anniversary celebration

To celebrate our 39th anniversary, we bought tickets to the Indy race at Texas Motor Speedway. We took the motor home down and got a campsite for the entire time.  This is me in the garage area with Danica's car. 

This is Keifer standing in the garage area. We were given pit passes so we were able to walk anywhere we wanted in the infield. It was a great time. 

5 generations

We just returned from motoring to Indiana to see the newest little one in Keith's clan. Eve Davis is Keith's mom's great, great granddaughter. That's 5 generations there. We also met a future husband to one of our great-nieces. We had a wonderful time seeing everyone and had another great trip.

Keifer takes a dare

The salesmen at the shop dared Keifer to try on a pink helmet. He feels secure in his manhood!

2nd attempt

This is my second attempt at doing a portrait. This is Keifer back when he still had hair. More to come, I'm sure.

This is Florida!

This is our campsite in Panama City about a mile or so from the beach. We had lions roaring to remind us when it was time to eat. There was a zoo on the other side of the fence. Isn't it just beautiful here?

Tuesday

Tuesday found us at Venice Beach. We had lunch with Ed and Pola and John and Sharill at a seafood restaurant right on the beach. The food was fabulous. We ate outside again! Another beautiful day. Tomorrow we head out to Panama City Beach. 

Monday

On Monday we went to Siesta Key and drove up the beach road. We ate at an outdoor restaurant and looked out over the 12 Armand Circle. The weather was beautiful.

Night 2

Night 2 landed us in Biloxi, MS at the Beau Rivage casino right on the beach. Kidd loved the beach. Another great buffet and Keifer did well at the Poker tables again. 

Movin on

On the first night out, we stayed at Horseshoe Casino in Shreveport, LA. Had the buffet for dinner. Yum. Lots of steamed shrimp. Keifer did well at the Poker tables.

The Birthday Girl

Little Addy had her first birthday in January. Everyone came out here for a family party for Addy and Hunter. She did enjoy her cake!
